Privacy notice
What this notice covers
This notice describes how Sports Advisors plans to handle information for its public football-research site and paid personalized membership. The initial release is an advisory service, not a sportsbook, payment processor or gambling operator. Any later wager execution or custody must be supplied through an approved licensed operator and requires a replacement, counsel-approved notice.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, password hash, session identifiers and account preferences.
- Membership information: subscription status, plan, renewal status and identifiers supplied by the billing provider. Sports Advisors does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
- Optional text-alert information: mobile number, consent status, opt-out status and delivery information.
- Research history: the releases assigned to an account and their subsequent grades.
- Personalization information: selected risk plan, member-entered bankroll, daily and weekly loss limits, state or jurisdiction, selected leagues, sportsbook names, futures preference, notification time and required acknowledgements. The advisory product does not request sportsbook passwords or government identification.
- Device and usage information: standard request metadata and settings stored in the browser, such as model-tool preferences and locally tracked activity.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, apply the selected risk plan and loss limits, personalize qualified cards or PASS notices, deliver requested alerts, keep an auditable delivery history, process subscription events, support cancellation, prevent abuse, diagnose service failures and meet legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosure
Stripe is planned to process subscriptions and Twilio is planned to deliver optional text alerts. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information to operate the service. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not plan to sell personal information.
Billing and cancellation
The planned membership is $22 per month, billed monthly until canceled. Stripe processes payment details. Members will be able to cancel future renewals through the billing portal; canceling does not erase transaction records that must be retained for accounting, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
Text messages
Text alerts are optional and require a separate affirmative opt-in. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Ending texts does not itself cancel a paid membership.
Retention and security
Information should be kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, to maintain the transparent release record, and to satisfy legal, accounting and dispute obligations. Reasonable safeguards will be used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Final retention periods must be approved during legal review.
Your choices
Members can cancel future renewals through the billing portal and opt out of texts with STOP. A working process for access, correction and deletion requests—and the monitored contact used for those requests—must be added before checkout opens. Some ledger information may need to be retained in de-identified form to preserve the integrity of the public record.
Age and location
The membership is intended only for adults age 21 or older where lawful. It is not directed to children. Users are responsible for following the laws that apply where they live. Never risk more than you can afford to lose; if gambling is causing harm, stop and call or text 1-800-MY-RESET.
